On results of meeting between management of Transneft and Croatian oil transportation company JANAF

Transneft management has met with heads of the oil transportation company JANAF (the Republic of Croatia) in Moscow.

Transneft was represented by its President Nikolay Tokarev, First Vice-President Maksim Grishanin, Vice-Presidents Sergey Andronov, Mikhail Margelov and Pavel Revel-Muroz. The Croatian delegation included JANAF President Dragan Kovačević, JANAF Board member Bruno Šarić and Director of the representative office of Croatian Chamber of Economy in the Russian Federation Jakov Despot.

During the meeting, the sides positively assessed cooperation opportunities and discussed the outlook for joint projects, including exchange of experience between specialists of the two companies in running infrastructural facilities as well as Transneft’s participation in JANAF international conference to take place in Zagreb, Croatia in December 2018.

JANAF also expressed its intention to join the International Association of Oil Transporters, which was established in 2013 at the initiative of the world’s largest oil pipeline companies. It will obtain an observer status in the nearest future.
