Russian President Vladimir Putin decreed the awarding of Transneft representatives for implementation of Zapolyarye – Purpe and Kuyumba – Taishet projects

Russian President Vladimir Putin decreed the awarding of Transneft representatives for their great contribution to the construction and commissioning of oil trunk pipeline systems Zapolyarye – Purpe and Kuyumba – Taishet. A respective document was signed on 12 July 2017 and published today.

Vice President of Transneft A.N. Sapsay was awarded the order of Alexander Nevsky.

Bulldozer operator at the Noyabrsk Oil Trunk Pipeline Directorate of Transneft – Siberia G.V. Martynov was awarded the Order of Honor.

Vladimir Putin awarded the following people with the Order of Friendship: Director General of Transneft – Siberia V.A. Bronnikov, crane operator from the automotive branch of the Noyabrsk Oil Trunk Pipeline Directorate of Transneft – Siberia A.N. Denisyuk, Deputy Vice President of Transneft A.I. Komarov, automobile driver from the Noyabrsk Oil Trunk Pipeline Directorate R.H. Nazipov, automation and process equipment device electrician at a section of the Urengoi Oil Trunk Pipeline Directorate D.F. Peretyatko.

Medal of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland”, 1st degree, went to: Deputy Director General and Technical Director of Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean Project Management Centre A.V. Gachkalo, First Vice President of Transneft M.S. Grishanin; Vice Presidents of Transneft B.M. Korol and P.A. Revel-Muroz as well as Director of the Department for Investment Projects at Transneft B.M. Pogrebnyak.

In addition, President decreed to award the following persons with Medal of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland”, 2nd degree: Director of the Department for Investment Projects of Transneft M.N. Larionov, processing units’ repairman at a section of the Noyabrsk Oil Trunk Pipeline Directorate of Transneft – Siberia S.A. Maizit, the chief supervisor of the construction team at the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean Project Management Centre E.M. Meleshko, head of a station at the Urengoi Oil Trunk Pipeline Directorate of Transneft Siberia S.V. Miraev, Deputy Director General and Director of the branch “Directorate for Construction of the Investment Project Pipeline System Zapolyarye – OPS Pur-Pe” at Transneft Siberia M.V. Sayapin, chief mechanics officer from the Department for Engineering Development and Operation of Pipeline Facilities P.I. Shoter, as well as automobile driver at Neryungri Regional Oil Pipeline Directorate of Transneft East Y.A. Shulgin.     

The honorable title “Emeritus Builder of the Russian Federation” was assigned to head of the section at the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean Project Management Centre A.F. Sevastyanov.

The 488-km oil pipeline Zapolyarye – Purpe with the capacity of up to 45 million tonnes a year is part of the pipeline system Zapolyarye – Purpe – Samotlor. The capacity of the oil trunk pipeline Kuyumba – Taishet is up to 15 million tonnes a year and the length is 697 km.

The projects target is connection of new fields in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District and Krasnoyarsk Region, with potential reserves estimated at 2 billion tonnes of oil in the system of Russian oil trunk pipelines as well as allowing for oil transportation to Russian refineries, buildup of export deliveries and diversification of Russian oil supply routes in the direction of Asia Pacific Region.
